If you already know what is a backlink, and its benefits, you can easily skip the introduction, and scroll down to get your FREE QUALITY BACKLINKS (No Creepy Generators or Signups - Yes they are free). Otherwise if you are new to SEO, stick with us, and explore the world of backlinks.

What are backlinks?

Backlinks are links pointing to your website. The number of backlinks to your website measures the popularity of your website. Backlinks are one of the most important aspects of Search Engine Optimization. Google gives more credit to popular websites, those having a high number of quality backlinks pointing to them. Websites with higher number of QUALITY backlinks using the same keywords, will rank higher than their competitives in a google search.

Search Engines (mainly Google) compute the relevance of a website to a specific keyword, by the number of QUALITY sites backlinking to the website. Therefore, the quality of those backlinks is very important. Even more important than the number of backlinks you have.

What is Anchor Text?

An efficient way to get quality backlinks to your website is using relevant 'anchor text'. Anchor text is the text contained in the text of the hyper link which links to your site. For example if your website is about 'crazy cats', the HTML format of the backlink will be Crazy Cats. 'Crazy Cats' in the last example is called anchor text, which is relevant to the content of your website. Therefore, this is called quality anchor text. Hence it is always better to use a keyword (anchor text) instead of 'click here'.

You can also use 'Visit our site to find more about crazy cats' as an anchor text. To find out your backlinks and what text is being used to link to your website, you can use this free tool http://backlinkcheck.com/. If you find a site is linking to your website, but is not using a proper anchor text, you can contact the site owner if possible to modify it. This will hopefully boost your page rank score.

OK, I Want My Free High Quality Backlinks Now

google pr, google pagerank, pr graphAnother thing you need to know is Pagerank. Do you know that a single PR1 quality backlink is worth more than a thousand PR0 backlinks, PR2 than PR1 thousand backlinks, and so on.

Now here's how you can get three very valuable PageRank9 backlinks:

1- You can get a quality backlink from GooglePlus. Register at GooglePlus if you haven't done so. Then go to your profile, and click on 'Edit Profile'. Click 'About'. Now click on 'Recommended Link' and type your anchor text in the label field, and the url in the url field. You can add as many sites as you want here. You can also type something in the 'introduction' and have a link with an 'anchor text' linking to your site. Bingooo, now you have a backlink from Google :)

2-Next, you can get a PageRank9 from WordPress.org

Open WordPress.org, goto click on 'Forums' and register. After logging in with your username/password, go to the Forums page. Look for a thread called "Your WordPress". Start a new thread, and call it "My site" or something. Hence, leave a nice backlink in the text field like this:

"Hey, Hope you are doing great. Check my site atYOUR KEYWORD . Your comments are very appreciated “

Bingo, now you have another backlink from WordPress :)

3- Next, you will get a PageRank9 from Mozilla.org

Open quality.mozilla.org/user/register and register. In the 'About Me' field, you can add the same message you used above for wordpress. Submit your details and activate your account. Thats it.

4- Open openstreetmap.org

Register, and then go to your setting page. Add a similar message to the 'Profile Description' Field.

The following is a list of sites, where you can register, and leave your comments with a nice backlink to your site:
